New Ownership Group takes Over Former All-Star Sports Facility in Irondequoit

ROCHESTER,  N.Y. – The Genrich Athletic Group LLC is proud to announce the takeover of the former All-Star Sports Facility on 557 East Ridge Rd. in Irondequoit, New York from being turned into storage facility, and will continue to be operated as an indoor turf facility available to all youth/adult sports in the Rochester, New York and surrounding areas.

The Genrich Athletic group LLC, who currently owns and operates The Regional Sports Center in Henrietta, New York will be doing approximately one million dollars’ worth of upgrades to the facility over the next three months.  Those upgrades coming in the areas of a new parking lot, LED lighting on the outside and inside of facility, new heating system, a new turf surface and more.  

“Our family roots are in Irondequoit, our plans are to completely renovate the facility over the next few month and reopen September 1 2019 and offer to the public newly renovated facility at an affordable price.” said Christopher Genrich, President of Genrich Athletic Group. Mr. Genrich also stated “they have also begun renovations at their Henrietta facility which will also include a New Turf system”.  

“The Irondequoit Soccer Club is very excited about the NEW Irondequoit Sports Center.  Having this facility right in our backyard is ideal and we are incredibly excited about the amazing improvements and enhancements that the Genrich Athletic Group is planning”, stated Justin Connor, President of the Irondequoit Soccer Club, “We are Grateful to the Genrich Athletic group for taking on this project to enhance the facility and provide indoor training space to this community”.

The new Irondequoit Sports Center will not only have space for soccer, but also lacrosse football, field hockey and space available for large events.
